Bar Exam Results
As most of you know, Michael graduated from Texas Wesleyan Law School in December and then took the Bar Exam in February. Well, we found out today that Michael passed the Bar Exam! We've been waiting for the last 2 months to get the results back. They were posted today on the Texas Board of Legal Examiners website. We are so excited, and I couldn't be more proud of him and his accomplishments. If you click on the title of this post, you can see his name on the list among the others that passed the exam this round. Thanks to everyone for your support of both of us the last 3 years. We couldn't have done it without you.

Easter Weekend Photos - 2009
We spent most of our weekend relaxing and playing with Carter. He had a great time dying the Easter eggs and working his new alphabet puzzle and wrestling with Uncle Mike. (I wish I had photos of the wrestling. It was quite hilarious!)
Easter Photos at Lake Quitman 2009
On Saturday afternoon, my parents had an Easter Egg Hunt for all of the neighbors' grandkids that were visting. They had a blast searching for the candy & money-filled eggs! I saw Nicole Sturh (5 yrs old) putting eggs in her little sister's basket (almost 2 yrs old) and thought, "How sweet of her to help her little sister!") Ashley, their mom, told me later that Nicole was shaking the eggs to see if they had anything in them. If they were empty she'd throw them in her sister's basket! Oh well, it LOOKED sweet. :)

Houston Baby Shower Photos
Okay, people, you've been asking for a preggo pic, and against my better judgment, I had Michael take one for you. Here I am at 8 months (32 1/2 weeks) pregnant. We had a doctor visit and sonogram today. Luke is weighing in at 4 1/2 pounds right now. (He is in the 46th percentile.) Dr. Wilson says that it's a little bit too early for him to predict how much he'll weigh at birth, but a good guess would be between 7 to 8 1/2 pounds. This could change and depends on a number of factors, of course. Everything looked good with Luke (& me) today. He has moved into a "head down" position, so he is no longer breech. We got to spy on him just doing his normal thing today. He was moving around, sucking on his hand, and we saw him breathing. We also saw and heard his heartbeat (132 beats per minute). We are right on target and getting ready for his arrival! Well, we are ALMOST ready! We still have some work to do on the nursery. (You can see a bit of it behind me in the photo.) I'll post more photos of it once we get it put together a little more. Thanks for keeping up with us. I admit, I'm not very good at updating this blog regularly, but as soon as I have something new to report, you'll hear from me. :)
